7月17日、台湾の首都・台北市にて「第1回台湾フルコンタクト空手道交流大会」が開催されました。
2013年に道場が開設されて以来初めての試合開催となり、新極真会の2道場（台北道場、台中道場）の他、他団体として台湾国内から2団体、香港からも1団体が参加しました。
今回は一般部（無差別級）のみの開催でしたが、20名弱の参加により成功裏に終わりました。
また、台湾地元メディアの記事にも紹介され、フルコンタクト空手がまだまだ根付いていない台湾でも今後理解を得ていけるものと期待しています。
The 1st Taiwan Fullcontact Karate Tournament

The 1st Taiwan Fullcontact Karate Tournament was held in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, on 17th of July 2016.
This was the first tournament held by Taiwan Dojo since its opening in 2013, and in addition to 2 Shinkyokushinkai Dojos (Taipei Dojo and Taichu Dojo), other groups which are 2 Dojos from Taiwan and 1 Dojo from Hong Kong also participated in the tournament.
Although this tournament had an Adult Open Weight Category only, the tournament ended with a great success by participation of approximately 20 competitors.
Local media also introduced an article about this tournament.
It is expected that Full Contact Karate will be more recognized and understood in Taiwan in the future, where Full Contact Karate is not recognized enough yet.
