7月21日（金）～24日（月）に台湾・台北市で開催された「2017年台湾美食展」（台湾観光協会主催）の会場にて、新極真会台湾支部による演武が4日間に渡って行われました。
このイベントには台湾副大統領や台北市長、農水省など現地政財界からも関係者が多数来場し、最終来場者数は16万2,191人（主催者発表）まで上りました。日本からも自治体や芸能関係者が参加するなど非常に注目されたこの舞台で、日本の武道精神、フルコンタクト空手の素晴らしさ、そして新極真空手の力強さと日頃の鍛練の成果を多くの人々に知ってもらう事ができ、演武は大成功に終わりました。
台湾において新極真空手、フルコンタクト空手が更に根付く為の大きな一歩になるものと確信しています。
Special Demonstration at the 2017 Taiwan Culinary Exhibition

From July 21 (Fri.) to July 24 (Mon.), the special demonstration by Taiwan Branch was performed over 4 days at the occasion of the 2017 Taiwan Culinary Exhibition which was organized by the Taiwan Visitors Association in Taipei, Taiwan.
A lot of guests such as Vice President of Taiwan and Mayor of Taipei, and people concerned from the Ministry of Agriculture and local politics and business participated in the event, and the final number
of visitors has risen to 162,191 according to the organizer.
At this remarkable stage with participation of local government and show business people from Japan, the special demonstration was performed very successfully and spread Japanese Budo Spirit, excellence of Full Contact Karate, and powerfulness of Shinkyokushin Karate and the results of daily hard training to many people.
We are convinced that this will be the big step for further familiarization of Shinkyokushin and Full Contact Karate in Taiwan.
