4月28日、サンパウロ州サンベルナルド・ド・カンポにてフルコンタクト空手の大会が開催されました。
この大会では体重別の組手の部（8歳～大人まで）と移動稽古および型の団体戦が行われ、サンパウロ州各地から選手が参加しました。
組手一般の部は、11月に開催される南米大会のブラジル代表選手選出にも関わっていたため、大いに盛り上がりました。
1st Stage – Paulista Karate Contact Championship

Brazil Branch held a Full Contact Karate Championship in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Sao Paulo.
The athletes participated in the championship from the following cities of Sao Paulo: Barueri, São Bernardo do Campo, Salto de Pirapora, São Paulo, Carapicuiba, Osasco, Vila Joaniza, Jabaquara, Piedade, Tatui, Sorocaba, Ribeirão Pires, Rio Grande da Serra, Embu Guaçu and Embu.
Kumite category was divided by age and weight (8 years old to adult) and also there were categories of Idogeiko and Kata by team.
The biggest highlight of the event was the Kumite category for adults, for it was a pre selective for the formation of the team which will fight in the South American Championship.
