12月2日にブラジル大会が階級無差別で開催され、男子の部はラファエル・ガルシア選手、
女子の部はジェフィニ・カルヴァルホ選手が優勝しました。
今大会より新しい試みとして、優勝賞金（男子2500＄相当、女子1500相当）が授与されました。

On December 2, Brazilian Championship was held successfully.
Mr. Rafael Cardoso won the male category, and received five thousand
reais, equivalent to two thousand five hundred dollars in cash, Ms.
Djefini Carvalho was absolute female champion in the category, and won
three thousand reais, equivalent to one thousand, and five hundred
dollars, and the other categories won 200 reais, equivalent to one
hundred dollars.
This was one of the first steps in the valuation of karate athletes
Shinkyokushin.
