24th March, 2012, The Consulate General of Japan invited Hong Kong Shinkyokushinkai to perform Shinkyokushin Karate at the event called “Genki Japan”
The whole demonstration time is around 40 mins, which include the introduction of Karate and Shinkyokushinkai, Kihon, Ido, Kata, breaking and Kumite.
Totally 18 members participated in this event.
*”Genki Japan” is sponsored by The Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong and is held as a part of the “Genki Japan Campaign” of Ministry of Foreign Affair of Japan.
The Exhibition is taken place from March 23rd to 27th, 2012 at the Kowloon bay International Trade and Exhibition Centre.
A year has passed since the Great East Earthquake.
The event has organized to show the gratitude and appreciation for the help and support that Japan received from the people of Hong Kong and to show the “Genki”of Japan and its newest attractions through a variety of exhibits and stage programs.
