9月18日・19日、南米地区理事のデニヴァルド・カルヴァルホ師範がペルーを訪問しセミナーを開催しました。
ヘクトル・チャヴェラ道場長による日頃からの指導で礼儀と知識を持ち合わせた生徒たちは、カルヴァルホ師範から基本、型、移動稽古、組手のテクニックを一所懸命学びました。
中でも、指導員でもあるスレイ・ヒメネス選手の技術はカルヴァルホ師範に大きな印象を与えました。第12回全世界空手道選手権大会の南米地区女子代表選手の選抜大会にもなる、 今年11月にブラジルのサンパウロで開催予定の第9回南米大会での活躍が期待されています。
Shihan Carvalho’s Seminar in Peru

On September 18 and 19, Shihan Denivaldo Carvalho, President of the South America Karate Shinkyokushin Organization, visited Peru Dojo which is operated by Contact Hector Chavera. Shihan Denivaldo Carvalho taught Kihon technique class, Kata, Idogeiko and Kumite techniques. He could observe the excellent work that Contact Chavera did in Peru, for the students were with a lot of discipline and had a good background and knowledge. Among the participants, Shihan Denivaldo Carvalho highly appreciated techniques of Ms. Zurey Gimenez, an instructor and athlete of the Peru Dojo. She will be participating in the IX SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP KARATE SHINKYOKUSHIN, which will be held in São Paulo, Brazil. This championship will be a selection tournament of a female competitor for the 12th World Karate Championship which will be held in Japan in 2019. Ms. Gimenez is believed as a strong candidate for the female competitor who will represent the South America Region.
