10月13日、14日に新極真会ウルグアイの2度目の春季キャンプが、ウルグアイのメルセデス市にて行われました。
キャンプには、ウルグアイの他の道場や、ワールドカップ南米地区代表に選ばれたトップ選手達も参加。
柔道のアプローチからの稽古や、3度の稽古は心地よい道場を出て、トレーニングマシンの助けがない野外で行うなど、大山総裁が自身の合宿で行っていたように、代行手段で鍛錬する方法を追求、基本と移動、精神力、身体能力、瞑想、喧嘩とスポーツの違いなどのトピックについても学びました。
土曜の夜には、生徒たちの家族や友人も招き共に食事をし親交を深めました。
今回のキャンプには地元ソリアーノ県からのサポートもいただき、極真空手を通して人々の生活の質を向上させることを追い求めるものにとって、格闘技への理解がある地元に恵まれているありがたさを改めて実感する機会となりました。
Uruguay Spring Camp

On Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 of October we had the second instance of the Uruguay Spring Camp organized by the new Shinkyokushinkai Branch, Kyokushin Tamashi Dojo from Mercedes city with the support of the Sport and Recreation Division of Soriano. This time teachers and practitioners participated from Honbu Dojo, Zanshin Dojo and Hikari Dojo from Montevideo, Aeroparque Dojo from Canelones and in addition we had the presence of the South American champion on-80kgs, Senpai Federico Diaz, the fighter in -70kgs, Sensei Gottardo Bianchi and women fighter +65 kg, Senpai Victoria Castillo (all South American representatives in the forthcoming World Cup in Lithuania 2013). We also had a nice visit of Sensei Miguel Palacio, 3rd Dan of Judo from Paysandú city who provided a different approach to the event. 3 training sessions were conducted outdoors, without Dojo comfort and the without the help of training equipment, so as to find alternative ways of training as Sosai Oyama used to do in his Camps. Technical basic in Kihon and Ido, spiritual strength, physical power, Zen meditation, street fighting and sport fighting were some of the topics covered in depth over the two days. During Saturday night dinner was shared with the company of some parents of students and friends. Soriano once again proves to be a fertile place for martial arts where we seek only to enhance and improve the lives of people through Kyokushin Karate . Osu!
