オーストリア大会2012を6月17日、ウィーンで開催しました。10カ国から合計196名の出場があった今大会は型と組手の両部門に分かれており、試合も年齢、体重、そして級段位の階級別に三つの試合場で行われました。各試合場の進行管理はポーランドのヴィエスラヴ・グヴイズド審判長を中心とした審判及びスタッフの連携により、非常にスムーズに進みました。また、今大会の特別ゲストとしてハンガリーのフルコ・カルマン支部長、スペインのヘスース・タラン支部長を招待しました。
SHINKYOKUSHIN AUSTRIAN OPEN 2012
On Sunday, June 17th, the Shinkyokushin Austrian Open 2012 took place in Vienna, organized by Branch Chief Sensei Marek Kubek, 4th Dan. Competitors from 10 different countries participated and showed the audience a high level Karate tournament. Special guests at the Austrian Open this year were Shihan Kálmán Furko from Hungary and Shihan Jesús Talán from Spain.

Altogether 196 competitors from Austria, Poland, Croatia, Germany, Sweden, Hungary, Spain, Liechtenstein and Czech Republic participated at the tournament in different categories of Kata and Kumite. The tournament took place on three Tatamis under guidance of main judge Shihan Wiesław Gwizd, 5th Dan from Poland. He and his team of referees ensured fair fights and a smooth passing of the event.
Outcome for Austria
The Austrian team was very successful this year. In the juniors category -65kg Stefan Stanojevic came in 3rd place. Also Lukas Prem and Theo Skarnes reached the 3rd place in the cadet classes -65 kg and -75 kg.
In the adult categories Juliane Klingeberg reached the 2nd place in women up to 5th Kyu. Jasko Hadzialic fought in the category Men up to 5th Kyu, +80kg and won his category although it was only his first tournament.
In the classe 4th Kyu and higher, Solomonian Serj reached the 2nd place in the category -70kg and received the special Best Spirit Award for his exceptional fighting spirit. In the highest category, Men Open, Slavi Dimitrov became 3rd place and Emanuel Lebo reached the 1st place.
The special award for Best Spirit Men went to Solomonian Serj (AUT) and Best Spirit Women to Szepesi Csenge (HUN). The award for Best Fighter Men went to Gandia Fernando (ESP) and Best Fighter Women to Yorulmaz Canan (NL) were elected.
All participants showed great Kyokushin Spirit and were able to fill the audience with enthusiasm. Special thanks go to main judge Shihan Wiesław Gwizd, 5th Dan, the referee team and the organizer of the tournament and Branch Chief of Austria, Sensei Marek Kubek, 4th Dan who ensured a successful and smooth event.
