ShinKyokushin Karate Fighting Spirit Camp 2026 in Poland
Date: July 24-26th, 2026
Place: Sieradz, Poland
Organizer: Branch Chief Robert Wajgelt (Sieradz Kyokushinkai Karate Club)

On 24–26 July 2026, another exceptional edition of the Kyokushin Fighting Spirit Camp took place – an event that has become a permanent part of the history and calendar of the Sieradz Kyokushinkai Karate Club.
This year’s camp had a special significance, as it was held during a remarkable anniversary year – the 35th anniversary of the Sieradz Kyokushinkai Karate Club. Thirty-five years of passion, hard work, educating successive generations of karate practitioners, sporting achievements, and building the values that have always been the foundation of Kyokushin karate: respect, perseverance, courage, humility, and responsibility.
For three days, over 60 participants from Poland and abroad together created an extraordinary atmosphere. It was a time of intensive training, exchange of experience, overcoming personal weaknesses, and building relationships based on mutual respect. From the very first moments, the camp became a place where everyone could develop their skills, character, and inner strength through hard work and consistent following of the Kyokushin path.
The honorary guest of the Kyokushin Fighting Spirit Camp 2026 was the Mayor of Sieradz, Mr. Paweł Osiewała, who officially opened the camp. In his speech, he warmly welcomed all participants, wishing them fruitful training, sporting success, and many unforgettable moments.
The camp also took place during a special time for the city of Sieradz, which is celebrating the 890th anniversary of its existence. The Mayor invited participants to discover the history, traditions, and beauty of our city, as well as to take advantage of its rich sports and recreational infrastructure.
The training program was prepared by Shihan Robert Wajgelt, and the classes were conducted by experienced instructors:
• sensei Beata Wajgelt
• sensei Bart Overkamp (Netherlands)
• sensei Michał Martynów
• sensei Marcin Sieczka
Each training session was a carefully planned stage of development – improving technique, strengthening character, and pushing personal limits. The shared work on the tatami once again proved that Kyokushin karate is not only a martial art, but above all a way of shaping a human being through consistency, discipline, perseverance, and respect for others.
One of the most important parts of the camp were the examinations for kyu and dan grades. It was a test of knowledge, skills, endurance, and character. Everyone who stood before the examiners demonstrated determination, courage, and deep respect for the Kyokushin path.
A particularly important and solemn moment of this year’s camp was the welcoming of new black belts into the Sieradz Kyokushinkai Karate Club.
We are proud to welcome:
• Andrzej Franelak 1 dan
• Maciej Kołeczek 1 dan
Achieving black belt is the culmination of many years of sacrifice, systematic work, and continuous self-improvement. The last year was a period of exceptionally intensive preparation, during which all elements of karate – kihon, kata, and kumite – were refined with great care.
Their success is proof of perseverance, patience, humility, and true passion for karate. We are proud that our group of instructors is joined by individuals who, through their attitude, will pass on the values and tradition of Kyokushin karate to future generations.
We warmly welcome you to the group of black belts of the Sieradz Kyokushinkai Karate Club. OSU!

Special thanks are extended to Sensei Janusz Antczak for his tremendous commitment, help, and support in the organization and execution of the Kyokushin Fighting Spirit Camp 2026. His experience, dedication, and many years of work for the development of Kyokushin karate are invaluable to our entire community.
We also express our gratitude to Dr. Mateusz Grabicki for his professional medical care and for ensuring the safety of all participants throughout the camp. Thank you for your time, professionalism, commitment, and readiness to help.
The camp concluded with demanding grading fights, joint training sessions, and commemorative photos that will preserve the memories of these exceptional moments for many years to come.
Special thanks also go to sensei Ida Wajgelt for preparing professional video and photographic material. Thanks to her work, the most beautiful emotions, atmosphere, and key moments of this year’s camp have been preserved and will remain a valuable memory for all participants.
We extend our gratitude to all institutions, companies, sponsors, and partners who supported the organization of this year’s event:
• City of Sieradz Office
• EKO-WIATR BIS – Krzysztof Statuch
• DEFERO
• AGROSAD
• and all other individuals and entities who contributed to the success of the Kyokushin Fighting Spirit Camp 2026.
Thank you for your trust, kindness, and support. Thanks to your help, we were able to create an event that not only develops athletic skills, but also educates, inspires, and unites people around the most beautiful values of Kyokushin karate.
We also extend our sincere thanks to all participants, parents, guests, and everyone involved in the organization of the camp. It is you who create the unique atmosphere of this event and make it grow year by year into something much more than just a sports camp. It is a community of people united by passion, mutual respect, and a constant pursuit of excellence.
35 years of the Sieradz Kyokushinkai Karate Club means 35 years of history, work, success, friendship, and raising successive generations of people who, through karate, learn responsibility, humility, courage, and respect.
May the values of Kyokushin continue to guide us all, inspiring constant development and the overcoming of our own limitations.
