2025年7月6日、中部ジャワ州セマラン市のスギジャプラナタ・カトリック大学で、「第26回インドネシアオープン」と「第2回インドネシアジュニア新極真空手選手権大会」が開催されました。
大会当日は早朝から合同稽古が行われ、インドネシア国内の西ジャワ、東ジャワ、北スマトラ、バリ、中部ジャワ、ジャカルタから集まった158名の選手が熱い戦いを繰り広げました。
開会式ではJBスジョト師範が押忍の精神について語り、「人生のどんな困難にも決して諦めず、道を極める姿勢が大切」と激励しました。
大会はスギジャプラナタ・カトリック大学の学生たちが中心となって運営し、中部ジャワ支部の支援のもと、ジュニア部門・一般部門それぞれで組手と型の試合が行われました。
選手たちは高い志と情熱を持って挑み、日ごろの稽古の成果を存分に発揮しました。入賞者には祝福の言葉が贈られ、惜しくも勝利を逃した選手も、次回2026年スラバヤ大会での再挑戦を誓い合いました。今大会は、選手たちにとって新たな成長と挑戦の機会となったことでしょう。
26th Indonesia Open and 2nd Indonesia Junior Shinkyokushin Karate Championship

The 26th Indonesia Open and 2nd Indonesia Junior Shinkyokushin Karate Championship took place on July 6, 2025, at Soegijapranata Catholic University. Beginning with an early morning group rehearsal, the event featured 158 competitors from various Indonesian provinces, including West Java, East Java, North Sumatra, Bali, Central Java, and Jakarta.
Shihan JB Sujoto emphasized the “Osu” spirit in his opening remarks, encouraging perseverance and continuous effort toward personal goals. Do not give up easily in every situation which faced in our life, for example 5th Dan test in Honbu, if you just satisfy in 4th Dan, you are not finished your journey. As long as you have a chance you should get in it, even you have a chance you may not be able to get it easily, you must afford it seriously. Spirit OSU mean strives to the end and expect nothing because you will get the best result with no regret.
The tournament was organized by students from Soegijapranata Catholic University and supported by Shinkyokushinkai Central Java and included both Kumite and Kata in Junior and General categories.
Competitors showed strong enthusiasm and determination, striving for excellence throughout the event. Congratulations to the winners, and encouragement is offered to all participants to return and compete again in Surabaya in 2026.
