第27回インドネシアオープンおよび第3回インドネシアジュニア新極真空手選手権大会が、2026年6月27日にスラバヤで開催されました。
今大会には、中部ジャワ、東ジャワ、西ジャワ、DKIジャカルタ、バリ、西ヌサ・トゥンガラなどから106名の選手が出場しました。競技は型と組手の2部門に分かれて行われ、各地域の選手たちが日頃の稽古の成果を発揮しました。
特にジュニア組手部門では、若い選手たちの強い気迫と高い技術力が注目を集めました。参加者は礼節、規律、武道精神を実践し、勝敗にかかわらず、真の新極真空手の価値を示しました。大会は円滑かつ公正に運営され、参加支部間の友好も深まりました。総合優勝には、型と組手の両部門で優れた成績を収めた東ジャワが選ばれました。
2027年大会は中部ジャワに戻り、スマラン市のインドネシア本部で開催予定です。
The 27th Indonesia Open & the 3rd Indonesia Junior Shinkyokushin Karate Championship

The 27th Indonesia Open & the 3rd Indonesia Junior Shinkyokushin Karate Championship were successfully held on June 27, 2026, in Surabaya, Indonesia.
This annual Shinkyokushin Karate Championship brought together 106 competitors representing various regions across Indonesia, including Central Java, East Java, West Java, DKI Jakarta, Bali, and West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The championship continues to demonstrate the steady growth and development of Shinkyokushin Karate throughout Indonesia.
The competition was divided into two main categories: Kata Competition and Kumite Competition. The event began with the Kata Competition, followed by the Kumite Competition.
The Junior Kumite division attracted particular attention due to the high level of determination and fighting spirit displayed by the young competitors. Many participants demonstrated excellent preparation and strong technical ability. Even those who did not achieve victory maintained respect, discipline, and proper Budo spirit, showing good sportsmanship throughout the tournament. This reflects the true values of Shinkyokushin Karate, where character development is as important as competitive success.
Overall, the championship was conducted smoothly, fairly, and in a spirit of friendship among all participating branches.
At the conclusion of the tournament, East Java was awarded the Overall Champion (Best Team) based on their outstanding performance across both Kata and Kumite events.
This championship remains one of Indonesia’s most important annual Shinkyokushin events and will continue to be organized every year. We are pleased to announce that the 2027 Championship will return to Central Java, with Honbu Indonesia in Semarang City serving as the host.
