モーリシャス支部は、2026年7月23日から28日まで、ポートルイスで年次稽古・昇段審査セミナーを開催しました。本セミナーは1998年から続く伝統行事であり、本年は特別ゲスト指導員として日本から村山努先生（四段、2011年世界大会準優勝）をお迎えしました。
稽古では、基本、移動、型、組手の四本柱を中心に、総合的な技術向上を目指しました。最終日には初段審査が行われ、7名の受審者全員が合格し、モーリシャス支部にとって大きな成果となりました。
村山先生の滞在中には政府関係者や在モーリシャス日本国大使への表敬訪問も行われ、武道を通じた文化的・友好的な交流が深まりました。
Mauritius Annual Training and Grading Seminar

The Kyokushinkai Martial Arts Federation Mauritius successfully organized its Annual Training and Grading Seminar from July 23 to 28, 2026. This event has been a tradition since 1998, with the exception of 2020 and 2021, when it was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The seminar was led by Sensei Tsutomu Murayama, a 4th Dan black belt and Vice World Champion in 2011, who served as the main instructor.
The seminar focused on the four pillars of Kyokushin practice: Kihon, Ido, Kata, and Kumite.
Strong emphasis was placed on connecting these elements to enhance overall performance. Sensei Murayama also shared insights into his daily mobility routine and endurance training methods, enriching the participants’ understanding of holistic martial arts practice.
The seminar concluded with a Black Belt 1st Dan examination. Seven candidates undertook the challenge, and the test lasted three hours, demanding high levels of stamina and technical precision. All candidates were successful, marking a significant achievement for the Federation.

The 2026 Annual Training and Grading Seminar was a resounding success, reinforcing the Federation’s commitment to excellence in martial arts education and practice. The event not only strengthened technical skills but also fostered cultural and diplomatic ties through the presence of distinguished guests.
