全南アフリカ大会2022が、7月2日にプレトリアのツワネ工科大学ソシャングベ北キャンパスで開催されました。体重別男子4階級、女子2階級に、南アフリカ全土から選りすぐりの選手総勢69名が参加し、勝者はポーランドでの世界大会への代表権を手にしました。
コロナ禍で昨年、一昨年は開催されなかったウエイト制の全国大会がようやく2年ぶりに開催されたということで、多くの観客が集まり大盛況となりました。
素晴らしい技と気合の入った戦いを見せてくれた選手をはじめ、会場を提供してくれたツワネ工科大学とスポンサーの皆様、献身的に選手育成と新極真会の発展に貢献してくださっている指導員達に感謝します。多くの方々のサポートのおかげで素晴らしい大会となりました。
South Africa Senior National Tournament 2022

Shinkyokushinkai South Africa, hosted a very successful and well-attended annual national senior tournament in weight division (for competitors 18+ years). This tournament follows a two-year break due to COVID-19, as we did not have national tournaments in 2020 and 2021.
The tournament had 69 registered competitors participating in all of the six different weight division categories (2 women division and 4 men division). Participants were from all the provinces of South Africa and other full contact organizations. The tournament was officiated by 16 officials who ensured the smooth running of the event and fair competition.
The tournament gave an opportunity to all competitors selected to represent the Africa Region in the 7th World Karate Championship in Weight Categories to test their readiness for the upcoming world championship in Poland on September 24-25, 2022. The tournament also provided Shihan Mashinini with a great platform as referee to prepare for the world championship as he took to the tatami as center referee for the final bouts.
We would like to congratulate all of the participants and winners in the competition and to extend our gratitude to all the sponsors, particularly Tshwane University of Technology, Soshanguve Campus for hosting the tournament and making it a success. We acknowledge our instructors for their commitment to the development and growth of the organization and the sport and expresses great happiness with the performance of all fighters, for the great skills and determination they have showed on the tatami.
