Poland Shinkyokushin Karate Fighting Spirit Camp
Data: 25-27.7.2025
Place: Poland, Sieradz
Organizer: Poland Branch (Branch Chief Robert Wajgelt)
From July 25 to 27, 2025, another edition of the Kyokushin Fighting Spirit Camp took place at the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in Sieradz – an event that has permanently found its place in the calendar of Sieradz Kyokushin.
This year, we deliberately limited the number of participants to 50. We focused on quality, concentration, and an individual approach. From the very beginning, a unique atmosphere was felt – people united by passion, determination, and a hunger for knowledge.
The technical program was designed by Shihan Robert Wajgelt and conducted by experienced instructors carefully selected by Shihan:
·Sensei Beata Wajgelt,
·Sensei Bart Overkamp (Netherlands),
·Sensei Marcin Sieczka,
·Sensei Michał Martynów.
Each of the nine training sessions was a testament to passion and professionalism, all united by a common goal – the pursuit of excellence.
A special guest of this year’s camp was Sensei Jiří Potyš from the Czech Republic – a long-time friend of Shihan Robert Wajgelt. Even before 2010, they worked together to elevate Czech Kyokushin to a very high level. Sensei’s presence on the mat was a beautiful return to the roots and an inspiration to younger generations.
We were also honored by the presence of Sensei Krzysztof Stanek, president of the Mielno Kyokushin Karate Club, who – as every year – joined us with his students. On behalf of the Mayor of Mielno, Mr. Adam Czycz, Sensei presented Shihan Wajgelt with a congratulatory letter and a special gift in recognition of being awarded the 6th Dan – an honor for his years of dedication and contributions to the development of Kyokushin in Mielno.
The highlight of the camp was the kyu and dan grading exams. The following instructors joined the ranks of sensei:
·Sensei Janusz Antczak,
·Sensei Paweł Owczarek.
Additionally, Sensei Ida Wajgelt earned her well-deserved 2nd Dan – the result of many years of perseverance, dedication, and consistent hard work.
We ended the final training in traditional fashion – with exam fights, photos, and a shared moment of reflection. For many, it was not only a time of physical effort, but also a moment of inner peace, renewal, and spiritual strengthening.
Special thanks go to Karol Wajgelt for the exceptional video and photos – not just documentation, but emotions captured in every frame!
We also thank all the companies that supported us in organizing this event and helped carry it out at the highest level.
Thank you to all the participants, instructors, and guests.
Because of you, the Kyokushin Fighting Spirit Camp has a soul.
See you next year – OSU!
