2025年5月1日、スリランカのコロンボでアマラシンヘ支部の型大会2025が開催され、60名以上の男女が6歳未満から18歳以上までの年齢別のカテゴリーに参加し、厳正な審査のもと競技が行われました。
大会後、選手たちにはメダルやトロフィー、賞状が贈られ、その努力と武道精神が称えられました。
この大会は、選手たちが実力を発揮する場を提供するとともに、アジア地区における新極真会空手の発展を示す重要な機会ともなりました。
WKOの継続的な支援により、このような取り組みが可能になり、スリランカの空手の未来と生徒たちの育成に役立っていることに深く感謝しています。
Sri Lanka Amarasinghe Branch Kata Championship 2025

Sri Lanka Amarasinghe Branch Kata Championship 2025 was successfully held on 1st May, 2025 by the School of Karate under leadership of Branch Chief Mahesh Amarasinghe.
The championship was a vibrant and disciplined event, with the participation of over 60 students across a wide range of age categories, from under 6 to above 18 years, both male and female. The opening ceremony featured the Fighter’s Oath delivered by Senpai Mauran, followed by a group warm-up session and basic punching and kicking drills.
Competitions were conducted across various age groups, and judging was carried out with the utmost fairness and professionalism by a panel of esteemed black belt Sempais including Viduna, Dewna, Gahanath, Yasindu, Thushara, and Chamathka, with myself serving as the main judge.
Winners were honored with medals, trophies, and certificates, celebrating their hard work, dedication, and martial spirit.
This event not only highlighted the emerging talent within our dojo but also served as a benchmark for future tournaments. It reflects the growing influence and recognition of Shinkyokushinkai Karate within the Asian region, driven by our shared commitment to tradition, innovation, and a strong sense of community.
