2026年1月23日～24日～25日、インドネシアのスラバヤで、アジア空手セミナー2026が開催され、インドネシアの他に、ミャンマー、シンガポール、グアム、スリランカ、マカオ、中国など複数の国から参加者が集まりました。本セミナーには、日本の総本部から小井師範が招かれ、主任講師を務めました。
本セミナーは空手の知識をアップデートし、理解を深めると共に、昇段審査の実施を目的として開催されました。
第1セッションは2026年1月24日午前9時～11時に開始。全参加者合同トレーニングでは、小井師範が全参加者を対象に基本と移動稽古を指導し、翌日の昇段審査の課題も与えられました。昼食後、14時から16時まで型の稽古が2グループに分かれて実施されました。
続いて16時30分から18時30分まで審判セミナーが行われました。審判セミナーはマリオ・クリスティ・スヨト師範が主導し、スジョト師範と小井師範が補助を務め、黒帯の参加者全員が参加しました。参加者は10グループに分かれ、順番に審判の実践を行いました。
最終日は8時からスタートし、小井師範からセミナー参加者が学ぶための様々な組手技法が提供されました。その後行われた昇段審査は、スヨト師範、小井師範、パトリック師範、スジョト師範が審査に当たりました。審査の開始から終了まで、参加者全員の熱意と渾身の取り組みにより、結果は非常に満足のいくものとなり、小井師範により全員に合格が宣言されました。

ASIA KARATE SEMINAR 2026
Surabaya, January 23–24–25, 2026, an event involving several countries such as Myanmar, Singapore, Guam, Sri Lanka, Macau, and China was held. This event was also attended by a representative from HONBU JAPAN, Shihan Yasukazu Koi, who served as the main seminar instructor.
The ASIA KARATE SEMINAR was held to refresh and deepen karate knowledge, as well as to conduct the Dan grading test (belt promotion test).
The first session started on January 24, 2026, from 09.00 to 11.00 in the morning. “Training with all Seminar Participants” was conducted, where Shihan Koi delivered KIHON and IDO GEIKO training for all participants. Shihan Koi also provided material that would be tested in the next day’s belt promotion examination.
After lunch, the event continued with the KATA SESSION from 14.00 to 16.00. The training was divided into two groups:
Group 1: Participants with belts below 1st Dan, trained by Shihan Sujoto.
Group 2: Participants with belts above 1st Dan, trained by Shihan Koi.
The event then continued with the JUDGING SEMINAR from 16.30 to 18.30. The Judging Seminar was led by Shihan Mario Christi Suyoto, assisted by Shihan Sujoto and Shihan Koi, and was attended by all black belt participants. On this occasion, Shihan Mario emphasized practice over theory; therefore, the participants were divided into 10 groups to take turns practicing judging.
The final day began at 08.00 until completion. Shihan Koi provided various kumite techniques for the seminar participants to study. The Dan Test was led by Shihan Mario Christi Suyoto with three examiners: Shihan Yasukazu Koi, Shihan Patrick, and Shihan Sujoto. The enthusiasm and seriousness of all participants were shown from the beginning to the end of the examination.
The results were very satisfying, and all test participants were declared to have passed by Shihan Koi.
