12月3日、4日にかけ、グリーンフィールドパーク道場の道場生3名の昇段審査が行われました。
3日の夜に型の審査を行い、翌日にも厳しい審査に続き、試割、最後には連続組手。受審者たちは持てる限りの力を振り絞り、見事全ての審査項目をやり遂げました。
80名以上の道場生が応援に駆けつけ、参段に挑戦したシルヴィー・ドゥロシェーは21人連続組手、初段に挑戦した2名はそれぞれ15人連続組手を完遂しました。
最後には皆疲れ切っていましたが、喜びと誇りで満たされていました。このコロナ禍の苦境にあっても、粘り強さと気合いで己に打ち勝った受審者たちの成功を心から誇りに思います。
Canada Alain Bordeleau Branch Grading Exam 2021

On December 3rd, three karatekas from the Greenfield Park Dojo began their Dan examination by performing their katas; Sylvie Durocher for her 3rd Dan and Ismael Tellez Munoz and Marina Li Pook Than for their 1st Dan. The test started at 8:00 pm and ended at 10:00 pm.
The examination continued the following day with very demanding training, followed by the breaking with the hands and feet. Finally, the combat portion was also challenging, but the students did their best and succeeded. More than 80 karatekas attended the event to encourage the candidates. Sylvie Durocher completed 21 combats for her 3rd Dan, Ismael Tellez Munoz, and Marina Li Pook Than; both completed 15 combats. At the end of the day, everybody was exhausted but happy and proud. They all surpassed themselves and were able to demonstrate their perseverance and courage during these difficult times of the Covid-19. We are very proud of their accomplishment.
