2026年8月2日、アマラシンヘ支部のビーチトレーニング2026がマウントラビニアビーチで行われました。
本行事は、アマラシンヘ支部長の指導・監督のもと、アマラシンヘ支部の黒帯一同により実施され、スリランカ各地の道場から40名以上の空手家が参加しました。
参加者は、基本稽古、型、護身術、組技、体力強化、チーム活動などを通じて、技術力、精神力、礼節、団結力を高めました。また、アヨミ先輩による試割の演武が参加者に大きな刺激を与えました。WKOスリランカ支部は、今後も「押忍の精神」を大切にしながら、新極真会空手の発展と次世代の育成に努めていきます。
Sri Lanka – Amarasinghe Branch Beach Training Camp 2026

The Shinkyokushinkai Beach Training Camp 2026 was successfully held on 2 August 2026 at Mount Lavinia Beach, Sri Lanka.
The training camp was organized by the Black Belt Union of the Mahesh Amarasinghe Branch – WKO Sri Lanka, under the guidance and supervision of Branch Chief Mahesh G. Amarasinghe. The event served as an important annual training program designed to strengthen technical ability, fighting spirit, discipline, and unity among members, while promoting the true values of Shinkyokushinkai Karate.
More than 40 karateka from branch dojos across Sri Lanka participated enthusiastically in the camp. Throughout the program, participants demonstrated strong commitment, perseverance, and respect as they engaged in intensive physical and technical training.
The training program included:
Warm-up and physical conditioning
Kihon (Basic Techniques)
Kata Practice
Self-Defense Techniques
Grappling and Close-Range Fighting Skills
Team-building and Group Activities
Beach Conditioning and Endurance Training
The event was facilitated by senior instructors and black belts, including Senpai Gahanath, Senpai Yenuka, Senpai Thushara, Senpai Rumeth, Senpai Viduna, Senpai Chenitha, and Senpai Ayomi. Their dedication and leadership contributed greatly to the success of the program.
One of the highlights of this year’s camp was an impressive Tamashiwari (Breaking) demonstration performed by Senpai Ayomi, featuring Lee Stick Breaking. The demonstration inspired participants and showcased the spirit, focus, and determination expected of Shinkyokushinkai practitioners.
The successful completion of the Shinkyokushinkai Beach Training Camp 2026 reflects the steady growth and development of WKO Shinkyokushinkai Karate in Sri Lanka. The WKO Sri Lanka Branch remains committed to developing technically skilled, disciplined, and respectful karateka while preserving the traditions and philosophy of the organization.
The WKO Sri Lanka Branch expresses its sincere gratitude to WKO Shinkyokushinkai Headquarters, Japan, President Shihan Kenji Midori, the Executive Committee, and the WKO Asian leadership for their continuous guidance, encouragement, and support. Their leadership continues to inspire the branch as it works to strengthen and expand Shinkyokushinkai Karate in Sri Lanka.
The branch respectfully reaffirms its commitment to the principles of “Osu no Seishin” and will continue working diligently to develop future generations of strong and honorable karate practitioners.
