第13回全世界空手道選手権大会終了後の10月17日（火）から19日（木）に世界空手セミナーおよびWKO昇段審査会が羽田イノベーションシティにて開催された。
セミナー二日目の午前中からWKO昇段審査会が始まり、世界各地から集まった105名が新たな段位に挑戦した。その中には第10回世界大会チャンピオンの将口恵美やブライアン・ヤコブセン、ブリジタ・グスタイタイテらも大会直後にもかかわらず受審しハイレベルな審査会となった。
午前の一次審査（基本、移動、型、体力の審査）に合格した受審者が午後の二次審査（組手）に進み、10人組手で日頃の鍛錬の成果を披露した。
WKO Grading Exam 2022 Results
The World Karate Seminar and WKO Grading Exam were held on October 17-19 at Tokyo, Japan after the 13th World Karate Championship.
The WKO Grading Examination started in the morning of the second day of the seminar, and 105 examinees from around the world challenged for their new grade.
Emi Shoguchi who is the world champion at the 10th WC, Brian Jakobsen and Brigita Gustaityte who participated in the 13th WC as competitors took the grading examination.
The examinees who had passed the 1st exam (Kihon, Ido, Kata, Physical) in the morning moved on to the second exam (Kumite) in the afternoon, and showed the result of their hard training by completing the 10 person Kumite.
