ニュージーランド支部（バージル・トロイ支部長）が、3月20日に組手＆型チャレンジ大会2021を歴史的なアールデコ建築の街並みで知られるネーピア市で開催しました。
新極真会とニュージーランド内の他流派からの参加を併せ、型と組手の両部門で80名が競いました。
コロナ禍のため、警戒レベルの変動にも対応できるように規模を縮小しての開催でしたが、選手たちにとっては、国境が再開して国際大会へ参加できる時に備え、試合の経験を通して実力を向上させる良い機会になりました。
ニュージーランド支部では、今後のオーストララシア(オーストラリア・ニュージーランド・近海諸島地域)での大会で好成績を残せるよう、弛まぬ稽古準備が続いています。
New Zealand Troy Branch – 2021 March Match Fights and Kata Challenge

WKO New Zealand March Match Fights and Kata Challenge took place Saturday 20 March 2021, in New Zealand’s historic Art Deco capital, Napier.
Eighty competitors competed across Kata and Kumite divisions. A strong contingent of Shinkyokushin players was joined by representatives of other organizations in New Zealand.
Because of Covid-19, this competition was reduced in size to allow play to continue under alert level changes. The event offered players the opportunity to compete and continue their progression in preparation for the opening of international borders and competition.
Training preparations are continuing to enable players to compete in upcoming Australasian championships successfully.
